sujithm
Hello friends I have enabled the DNS Management addon for one of my domains from the admin panel. But when I go to my client area and try to manage DNS for that domain, it does not work. Instead, it redirects back to the domains list page. Initially I thought that this is due to a problem with my template. And I tried changing the templates, but the output is the same. Have anyone of you come across such a situation? I may be doing something wrong and that could be the reason. Can you please guide me how to get a fix on this issue? Thanks & Regards Sujith
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 5, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 5, 2016 Hi, To which registrar module is the domain in question assigned? In order to see the commands being sent/received between WHMCS and the module, the Utilities > Logs > Module debug Log tool can be used Please enable it, reproduce the problem, disable it again and then copy the data into this ticket reply for us to review. Be sure to remove any sensitive data before posting it here. More detailed instructions are published at http://docs.whmcs.com/Troubleshooting_Module_Problems
sujithm
Hi John Thanks for your response. We use Virtualname as the domain registrar and with their WHMCS module we are handling domain activities. By default, I see that following domain addons are available on WHMCS DNS Management Email Forwarding ID Protection When I activate these addons on any TLD, it shows up in the addons section of clientarea domain management. I can also see a link there to manage these addon services (for example, manage DNS Host Record Management is linked to http://mydomain.com/clientarea.php?action=domaindns&domainid=120). When I click on this link, it just takes me back to the domains list page (http://mydomain.com/clientarea.php?action=domains). Same is the case with other two addons as well. I am not getting any idea why it is not showing even an error, or show up in module log either. Thanks & Regards Sujith
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 11, 2016 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 11, 2016 Hi, Virtualname is not one of our modules unfortunately, so it would be necessary to check with the vendor that their code supports those functions.
sujithm
Hello Thanks for the update. I will surely check with Virtualname to see whether they support these functions. Thanks & Regards Sujith
