Smarty 3 and Not Able to Manipulate Email Date to 15 days in the future any Longer (For RAA Email)

With WHMCS 5.3.X and Smarty 2, I had an email template set up to send out to my clients when a domain name was successfully transfered.

The smarty code I was using was as follows:

{$smarty.now+15*24*60*60|date_format:'%m-%d-%Y %H:%M:%S'}

How ever since the upgrade to WHMCS 6.2 (and with 6.0.2 my original upgrade from 5.3.x) That above code will no longer generate a date 15 days from the date of the email being sent, for example, if this post was the email it would say: "Fri, 22 Jan 2016 05:47:02 GMT"

Since the upgrade to WHMCS 6 all that the above code will show is the "unix timestamp" so nothing really useful to the average "Joe".

For some reason something was changed in Smarty 3 to make that code not work any longer.

Yes I can go back to saying you have 15 days to verify your email address from the date of this email. But it looked more profession to actual give a date 15 days in advance.

If any one has any ideas on this, my ears (or is it 'eye balls') are listening.

Thanks

Roy
