Usability issues with WHMCS

Recommended Posts

I know im not alone, and ive said it before as much as i like using WHMCS there are often the simplest fixes that WHMCS really needs to make it a better usable system that should not warranty a FEATURE REQUEST.. the feature request forum simply gets lost with the thousands of request that people don't even search for anyway.

Let me give you an example, i have a client they want to purchase a new product that i need to manually setup from admin. So what do i logically do, i search the client, i visit the clients profile screens, i got to PRODUCTS/SERVICES and EXPECT to see a button somewhere to ORDER PRODUCT via this screen... but guess what there is no ORDER button on this screen, question is WHY NOT ?

The only way to do it is visit the SUMMARY screen and hidden amongst 100 million other links is ORDER NEW PRODUCT button on this screen.

I shouldn't have to visit the summary screen for this, infact if i want to order a product or service i should be able to do it via the PRODUCT/SERVICES tab.

Im not going to go and put in a feature request for this so don't bother replying back with that response. Im venting my frustration here and want WHMCS to fix the USABILITY issues as well as core bug fixes rather than introduce new features into the mix without firstly attending to what has already been developed.
