ocastaned
There is a problem with domains. When a customer search for a domain and it's available, there is a blue button to added it to cart. If a customer add the domain to the cart, then he is immediately taken to the checkout page, where he/she needs to fill out their information and then complete the order. The problem here is that there is no way to select domain add-ons during that process, such as, ID Protection, DNS, etc. So when the customer completes the order, then he is asked to select the add-ons. In past versions of WHMCS when a domain was available, the next step was to select the add-ons and they pay. Now it is happening in a different order. I am currently on WHMCS 6.2. This is making more complicated the process of ordering a domain. Anybody knows how to fix that?
rkatz0
I just checked. You need to make sure id protection is on and has a defined price in domain pricing management: TLD Pricing DNS Management Email Forwarding ID Protection EPP Code Auto Registration

rkatz0
Is it on on the particular extension at the top of that screen? It isn't showing in that screenshot.
ocastaned
I think it is on for all my domain extensions. rkatz0
Then there should be a check box when you confirm the domain, otherwise if you have customized your cart theme you should check that or make sure the templates_c is cleared (clear cache). - - - Updated - - - If you are using a custom theme then I would try the stock Six order form to see if it behaves the same.
ocastaned
I think is a bug. I already contacted WHMCS support, and they told me this: Thank you for contacting WHMCS! I've been able to reproduce this issue with a test installation and have opened case #CORE-9523 with our developers in order to have this resolved for future releases. Unfortunately, I cannot provide an estimated time for completion for this. However, once we resolve cases and push features they are available at our change log, here: http://changelog.whmcs.com/ I apologize for the inconvenience, and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this. If you notice any bugs in future, please use our bug reporting tool at http://bugs.whmcs.com
brian!
Anybody knows how to fix that? the solution I posted in the thread below might help... http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?105162-How-to-quot-upsell-quot-products-and-services-when-someone-adds-a-domain-to-cart&p=433262#post433262 - - - Updated - - - https://gyazo.com/7c4d9b09ffae4c7aa8253da08c735176 you may want to check with your registrar as I don't think you can offer ID Protection with .es domains - certainly OpenSRS and eNom don't allow it.
