Bundled products problem

Something odd about bundled domain+hosting. I created a special price for domain+hosting in a bundle.

Here is what happens:

  1. Customer is asked for a domain name..
  2. the system checks and OK's the domain name
  3. customer is shown optional items for the hosting, like private IP, etc.
  4. Customer is AGAIN asked to choose a domain
  5. Domain is checked and OK'd to be available!

any ideas how to prevent the repetition of the domain selection?

It seems it does the selection both for hosting and domain again..

Thanks! -t

difficult to tell without seeing your bundle settings, but it looks like the hosting product requires a domain, and then there is another domain in the bundle... so the customer is asked twice.

it might be easier not to use a bundle for this... have your hosting product require a domain, make the domain free (and specify com/net etc) and specify the applicable billing periods - then your customer should only be asked for the domain once.

btw - the Vertical Steps template is no longer being updated by WHMCS, so at some point in the future, you will need to change it to one of the newer templates.
