Guest vuzuggu
I am trying to get email forwarding importing working on my WHMCS installation after using POP WHMCS Version 6.1.1 cPanel 11.52.1 (On Cloud Linux) What I did: Set up email forwarding to /home/XXXX/public_html/whmcs/pipe/pipe.php Did not set up any cron jobs Set clients/crons/pipe.php to 755 permission When sending a message to the email address a ticket is successfully created, however, a bounce email is sent to the original sender. ######## This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: pipe to |/home/XXX/public_html/whmcs/pipe/pipe.php generated by email@myemail.com The following text was generated during the delivery attempt: ------ pipe to |/home/XXXX/public_html/whmcs/pipe/pipe.php generated by email@myemail.com ------ X-Powered-By: PHP/5.6.15 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Set-Cookie: WHMCS6WVNoV3jjhU9=a7d686ef65b50c2c138e345b88900d0d; path=/; HttpOnly Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0 Pragma: no-cache Reporting-MTA: dns; Action: failed Final-Recipient: rfc822;|/home/XXXX/public_html/whmcs/pipe/pipe.php Status: 5.0.0
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 9, 2015 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 9, 2015 Hi, Are you using an external email provider for these support mailboxes by any chance? (eg. https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/apps/FnJKrHOfdF8) If the mail server is not being run by your cPanel install, you'd need to use the POP3 Import Method rather than email forwarders.
