Jaffery
What is best way to give discount on yearly payments.. and also highlight it ? Currently what I am doing that I have added discounted yearly price, so its something like this product pricing : monthly : $10 half-yearly : $48 yearly : $72 Though they are discounted price but won't get highlighted as half yearly turns out to be $8pm , yearly $6pm. Is there any way to show in selection like : monthly : $10 half-yearly : $48 ( $8 per month) yearly : $72 ($6 per month) I hope I have explained properly.. advice please.
brian!
it would help to know where you want to highlight them? on a product pricing page, during the ordering process etc... a screenshot of where you want to change would be useful.
Jaffery
May be I was not clear, well we when set pricing for product, we have choices to set Monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, yearly etc. And I want to give discount to those who pays half yearly or yearly. Currently what I have done is that I have entered amount as I have mentioned in above post : monthly : $10 , half-yearly : $48 , yearly : $72 Though they are discounted price but won't get highlighted as half yearly turns out to be $8pm , yearly $6pm. Is there any way to show in selection like : monthly : $10 , half-yearly : $48 ( $8 per month), yearly : $72 ($6 per month) I want something like when we provide free domain with a package, you see free domain in front of it as shown in screenshot below : Though prices shown for half yearly , yearly etc. payments are discounted but buyer will only spot discount if they calculate it themselves hence I want to show that on bulk payment they have discounts and how much it will cost them per month if they buy for longer period.
brian!
ok, that's what I thought you meant, but I wasn't certain... take a look at the tutorial I posted in the thread below, it should explain how you can modify the billing cycle text to show the discounts you want. http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?85823-Tutorial-How-to-modify-the-Recurring-Billing-Cycle-text
Jaffery
Man.. that was comprehensive and very nice work.. However, I thought in all those years WHMCS is matured enough.. but still it is not.. the more I use it.. more I regret for my choice I wish someone can plugin for that as the editing is prone to errors and can mess up things.
