scurrell
So how do you put a "\" character in a support ticket email? I've tried switching to plain text mode, but it just strips the \ characters
arteryplanet
Do you mean in the email template? or in the ticket itself send to a client for example?
bear
Have you tried escaping it? \\ If that fails, have you tried using the HTML equivalent? % 5 c (remove spaces)
scurrell
Do you mean in the email template? or in the ticket itself send to a client for example? In the ticket we send to a client, and in the tickets they submit to us. The support ticket system strips them out. I don't really want to have to escape it out, or use html equivalents, and our clients certainly won't.
scurrell
I presume it's a bug rather than an intended "feature"?
