Multi Issues: Cart will not empty, Domain Search over 30 min or longer & Payment checkout page issue

Hello, we have been approved for a Helcim merchant account, we installed their plugin, however even prior to this the below issues are happening and I am not sure how to fix it.

 

1: The "empty cart" will not work, nor will the X on the shopping cart, it is like a dead link, nothing happens - how do we fix this?

 

2: when customers enter their information on the check out page, and tick mark the "agree to TOS" and then click on check out, nothing happens, the cart is just sitting there. Even if the TOS is not required we have tried that and it will not let you check out.

 

3: Domain lookups take an extremely long time, no matter if we use the Resellerclub/Logicbox account we got for free via WHMCS or use the standard WHOIS lookup, it takes 10 to 20 min for a domain to come back, is there some way to speed this up?

 

If someone could get back to us as quickly as possbile, as we are not able to process orders.

1 & 2 may be caused by an incomplete installation - e.g files may become corrupted on upload - uploading again might resolve the issue.

 

additionally, they may also be caused by a custom template and a conflict with the order-form template code - I can see you're using Flathost... you could try switching to "Six" and see if that solves the issue.

1 & 2 are after upgrading to version 6.1.1 :( idk how to downgrade because we have a lot setup. flathost is the template we are using because I customized it but i tried (six) and the empty cart works and do does the dropdown. so that means I need to with the developer and ask them to fix that.. since I don't know how to fix it.

 

or could I copy to cart and put it into flathost?

I switched back to Flathost and selected the cart as Flathost and it works.. when I use Pure Comparison which came with WHMCS it stops working again

Ok that is wired. I tried all the "carts" and these are the ones that will not let the "remove from cart" to work or the card selection work.. Any idea how to get them to work? these was provided in the upgrade.

those new order-form templates (standard cart, pure and premium) were only introduced in v6.1.0 - so if the version of the Flathost template that you're using pre-dates this, then you will run into issues.

 

simplest solution would be to contact the author and get the latest version of Flathost - it's supposedly compatible with v6.1.1 - that should resolve your issues.

 

and as a general rule, if you're using a custom template that you can't update yourself, don't update WHMCS until the template author has released an update.
