Cloudflare Railgun And WHMCS Session Handling

Anyone here using Cloudflare Railgun on their site along with WHMCS?

We tried it, but it really screws up the PHP session handling. The admin area won't stay logged in for any longer than a minute and it's impossible to login to customer accounts.

I had this same issue as a Cloudflare Pro customer a couple of years ago with another PHP script and actually moved to Google Page Speed. Since they shutdown I decided to give them another try, but I still have this issue.

I asked WHMCS support and they said:

Could you please disable cloudflare completely from the domain and let me know if that helps as well.

Also, could you please ensure there are no customisations present on your installation as these can often change the way WHMCS operates?

These are typically located in the /includes/hooks and /modules/addons directory (and maybe also /modules/admin if it's an old customisation).

If this works after removing the customizations, you can begin adding them back one at a time until the issue begins again.

The last one you added back is most likely the culprit and you will need to contact the developer of the addon/customization for further assistance.

Disabling the Railgun completely rectifies the issue, but my site also loads slower.

I'm sure there is a work around for this, but I haven't yet found one!

Anyone else fight this battle? I'm sure I'm completely over thinking the solution, but am having a heck of a time with it!

Does anyone found a workaround to make railgun work with WHMCS, after tested railgun, Iwhile it looks that my website speed increases speed  ⬆️.... but the issue is that it will get you out from admin and we need to login again, and again, and again, and login again 🤪

Added also cloudflare IP to WHMCS>Setup>General Settings>Security

Also have set up .htaccess but did not work,

Perhaps there is some setup to be done Cloudflare’s Web Application Firewall

Does anyone get it work there

PS: If turn RailGun OFF it works fine
