Setting up email piping

I have followed the steps to setup support email piping and on testing the account, we receive a returned mail indicating the below:

pipe to |/home/domain/public_html/crons/pipe.php

local delivery failed

 

The following text was generated during the delivery attempt:

 

cagefs_enter: /home/domain/public_html/crons/pipe.php: Permission denied

We're using cPanel

Changed the file permissions of the crons and it appears to work, thank you

Yes, permissions is one change you will have to make on pipe.php in the crons folder. You may also have to change the path in the config.php file in the crons folder, I found the direct path ($whmcspath = '/path/to/whmcs/' had to be there, not just ../

This post could be a lot of help if the author just clarified what "file permission" he used for the CRON file.
