Client Groups (trying to understand)

If I create 10 client groups with 10 different levels of discount, applied to each one. Does the daily cron apply the logic to move the clients into each group (depending on their active services), or is it something that would have to be done manually?

 

If the latter, it's not going to be possible to do what I was planning.

Or is there a way to do it?

P.S. I also have another group 'RESELLERS' which I would like to 'not' be included in the discount system above. So is there some way to lock them into their group rather than force a move. (If this can be automated at all that is) ?

Assigning clients to groups done manually.

if you need to assign them automatically you will need to create action hook to handle the validation and assigning them based on your configurations

Yes, that's the module I'm using and from it's description I thought it would do it, but Lee states it doesn't do it automatically.

 

I'll raised a feature request with Lee and also post a request where you stated to see if someone else can help with the hook. Cheers.
