smileys
Hi I have been using whmcs for some time now, I had some issues with my server and had to remove whmcs temporarily, so am trying to reinstall it now. And I had not updated to the new verision, so I went ahead and got the zip for the new verision and installed. when I go to the page, to setit up install.php, I clicked on the I agree part and everything passed but the template_c folder, which I have looked everywhere and can not find it? Can someone please advice me if I've done something wrong here, or where this folder is located? Thanks Laura
bear
It should have been in the download. If it wasn't, create a blank directory with that name in the root of the WHMCS install and CHMOD it to 777. That should fix it. By the way that's templates_c, with an "s" at the end.

bear
That's fine. Are you sure the customer has an email address in his profile? If that seems ok, can you try SMTP? You'd need to use the settings for a valid email account on your server to try it.
smileys
I verified that there is a correct email address for each client and still get the same error. I also noticed that if I go under config/email templates all that is listed is this Affiliate Messages Domain Messages General Messages Invoice Messages Product Messages Support Messages theres nothing editable and there use to be, does the new verision different now? Or have I done something wrong? in the setup?
bear
It sounds as though you hadn't installed it properly. There should be individual message templates under the headings you mentioned. This is likely the cause of your problem. I'd suggest a reinstall.
