WEBPC
Hi I am using WHMCS v6.0.1 upgraded from v5 on a Windows 2012 server. I have configured PayPal and Paypal ipn as per the WHMCS instructions/ video. With one difference I have the IPN URL posting to the Https address instead of the http one. I have a pre-existing subscription created outside of WHMCS. For this I set up a new product under the client. Payment method is PayPal and I have pasted the PayPal subscription ID into the Subscription ID field on the order screen. I have checked the subscription ID in WHMCS against the subscr_id value in the IPN message shown on the PayPal website. PayPal is sending an IPN notification and receiving a 200 response. I can see this when looking at the raw log files for the website that WHMCS is running in. However, the Invoice is not getting the payment (due date is the subscription pmt date) and when I look in the Gateway log nothing is showing. Any ideas as to what is going wrong? TIA Antony
basic
This question from last JULY was not answered. I have the same question. Does anyone know if that is possible? John
WHMCS Product Manager WHMCS John Posted January 18, 2016 WHMCS Product Manager Share Posted January 18, 2016 Hi, Unfortunately this would not be possible. PayPal won't be sending IPNs to the WHMCS callback file and the callback won't contain the variables WHMCS needs to assign it to the relevant account. It will be necessary to cancel the PayPal Subscriptions created outside WHMCS and allow client to create new ones when their first invoice is generated by WHMCS.
