Update Client group discount item in invoice

When you update an invoice either through admin interface or API it doesn't update the client group discount amount.

 

In the database WHMCS knows there's a item of type "GroupDiscount" so it should be able to automatically update that amount when user updates/adds other values in the invoice.

This is not currently a feature of WHMCS. However we welcome feature requests online at http://requests.whmcs.com

Feel free to register and add auto-recalculation of client discounts as a new suggestion for comment and voting by our community.

 

In the meantime it may be possible to achieve this via a customisation triggered by the UpdateInvoiceTotal action hook point:
