box
We have several customers that try to transfer in domains that are already under our management. Is there anyway to prevent this? WHMCS simply does a check if domain is available, and if it's not it allows the customer to transfer the domain to himself. Then customers receive errors like: Canceled - Domain is already registered in account and cannot be transferred
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted June 5, 2015 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted June 5, 2015 Hi, To prevent that please tick the Setup > General Settings > Ordering tab > Block Existing Domains option.
box
The problem is that option also blocks ordering domains in Pending status. So if someone orders a domain but never pays for it no one else can order the same domain again. IMHO that option should only apply to domains with Active Status.
box
Nevermind, it's working fine for ordering new domains with that option On.
