Can not change "Default Language"

if you mean the Default Language found in general settings, then this only sets the default language for the client area.

setup -> general settings -> localisation

if you want to set a language for the admin area, you'll need to go to...

setup -> staff management -> administrative users

find the active administrator(s) that you want to change the language for, click their edit button and then select the language from the dropdown.

Thank you for your reply.

I've already tried the "setup -> general settings -> localisation" but it seems it didn't update the database.

I solved the issue via updating database with sql query via phpmyadmin.

I think there is a problem the save procedure but i can not trace it ...

Hi,

Is this issue solved "officially"? Sometimes I meet things around the language selection. This time I can't change my customers default language in admin area and he can't change his client area... this way road to hell... to MySQL & PhpMyAdmin... :S:/
