chumxzrv
I hope I'm just missing something obvious, but... I know a client can make a one-time credit card payment through the front-end without having to store credit card details. But in the admin area, I can't see any way for us to enter a client's credit card details and process a one-off payment. The "attempt capture" feature seems to require that CC info already be on file. Adding the details to their account first, then doing a capture, then deleting the info is hardly a reasonable option. What am I missing, or is it really not possible to perform a manual CC payment via the admin interface?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted February 15, 2015 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted February 15, 2015 Hi, You are correct, the card details would need to be added to the client's profile, then you an click "Attempt Capture" on the attempt the client's card.
rmm
Ok, thanks for the reply. Fortunately WHMCS makes it easy to add custom addons. I was able to write a POS terminal that our staff can use in the admin area to process phone-in cc payments. It can either apply the payment to an invoice or add it as credit.
