Kirill
Hello, Is it possible to disable some (not all) natively supported languages in WHMCS? Thank you.
brian!
I think you can just delete the appropriate file(s) in the lang folder - e.g., if you don't want Spanish as an option, just delete the spanish.php file and it should be removed from the language dropdown.
cpDionysius
Bump! This is no solution for me, because an update/upgrade of whmcs would restore these files Anyone knows a better solution? Thanks in advance
sentq
Bump! This is no solution for me, because an update/upgrade of whmcs would restore these files Anyone knows a better solution? Thanks in advance it's not that hard to delete few files from the same folder, another solutions will be more harder i can give you one that you'll need to edit footer.tpl for example
brian!
This is no solution for me, because an update/upgrade of whmcs would restore these files Anyone knows a better solution? I think WHMCS checks to see if the language file(s) exist in the lang directory - if so, they're added as options to the language dropdown - so the easiest way to disable them is to delete them! as sentq says there are alternatives, but you could overwrite them with an update too, so you're no better off. whmcs updates are usually only released every few months and I would imagine there will only be 1 or 2 more until v6 gets a full release - and for all we know, v6 may handle languages differently. it's not difficult to take care when updating - and it will get easier the more you do it.
