Tonya
From 1 January 2015, the VAT rate charged will be the rate applicable in the country where buyer resides and not where the company (seller) is based. I am yet to hear from the WHMCS regarding the updated VAT module. Has anybody heard about the estimated release time? Since 1 January is approaching fast I would appreciate any news on this issue.
brian!
WHMCS John's belief is that the current version of the EU VAT Addon will work without an update. http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?95579-VATMOSS-amp-EU-VAT-changes&p=402439#post402439
othellotech
I am yet to hear from the WHMCS regarding the updated VAT module. Why do you think the VAT module needs changing ?
UH-Simon
Why do you think the VAT module needs changing ? The only change I can see it needing is "Automatic VAT Tax Rules Setup" part when actioned should setup the tax rate for each individual country instead of using the locate VAT rate for the base country. Easy enough to work around by manually setting up the rules instead of using the automatic function.
