ghh
[1011150] Invalid request IP: XXX.XXX.XX.XX Hi I've been getting this error when I try and run cron.php manually and also when it runs automatically. I don't see any actual errors anywhere. This is the last entry in the System Activity Log Cron Job: FTP Backup - Completed Successfully The IP that is coming up is not my hosted IP but is another address in my network. I have tried adding this to my API whitelist within WHMCS but that had no effect. So what does this error really mean? Is there some place I should be adding this ip? Thanks
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 18, 2014 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 18, 2014 Hi, I assume you're seeing this error on-screen or in the command line when you run it manually? It sounds like it's being output by a after-market module or action hook that's running as part of the cron.
ghh
I was seeing it on screen and in the cron job log. You put me on the right track though - it was my domain registrar IP that needed that IP added to its whitelist. Now the cron completes without any errors. francoscopic
I am currently having this same error when I am trying change the nameserver from my hosting company's domain panel. I bought the domain (by namecheap) through the hosting company, so I don't have access to whitelist my IP. What could I do to remove the error and change the nameserver of my domain.
