[confirmed] Order Confirmation Email Not Showing VAT/TAX on Upgrades

General Release 5.3.10-release.1

 

Whenever we create an upgrade order for someone the "Order Confirmation" email does not include the VAT in the "Total Due Today" field. It displays it for new orders fine.

 

The {$order_details} Merge field outputs as follows:

 

For a New Order

Product/Service: Web Hosting

Domain: testing.com

First Payment Amount: £19.95 GBP

Recurring Amount: £19.95 GBP

Billing Cycle: Annually

 

Total Due Today: £23.94 GBP

But for an Upgrade

--------------------SNIP------------------------------------

Upgrade/Downgrade: FREE Forwarding => Web Hosting

Billing Cycle: Annually

Total Due Today: £19.95 GBP

The order itself is raised with VAT correctly and as if you view the invoice it does have the VAT on there but we have had a number of people pay the wrong amount when they pay via BACS and chasing a few quid is not fun or productive for anyone!
