Hey guys,

after reading through the code/docs and figuring out the cart segment of the template system,

it seems that the cart seg seems to be within a "header/footer" layout as well .. that seems to double up inside the already header footer layout of the actual template, (nesting?)

is there a reason for that ? and is it possible to run the cart seg in a single page layout without the need for the header footer ?

im almost tempted to loose the whole footer part of the top level template and just use the one header for the entire template, cart included, it might make more content on each cart page but it would do away with the nesting and just be cleaner over all.

has anyone else gone down this road ?
