ohandy1
I have a client who predates my use of whmcs. I moved his account to my new server using a tarball but apparently i created his account in whmcs directly. the usernames are different but domains are the same between the two and the password given in whmcs doesn't apply to the cpanel account. I would like to simply remove this account from whmcs and import it from whm making all the settings accurate and allowing me to create invoices, new services, blah blah blah... He depends on his email so I dare not delete his whm account. is there a safe way of doing all this? (or perhaps a better way?)
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 15, 2014 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 15, 2014 Hi, All you'll need to do is change the username under the client's Products/Services tab to match the actual username in WHM and you're good to go. There's no way to get the password out of WHM, until the client resets their password via WHMCS it won't match I'm afraid. However the client's password is not required for WHMCS to be able to manage it. For reference, the red "Delete" link at the bottom of the client's Products/Services tab will remove their service from WHMCS without making any changes to the server.
