Whmcs and phonenumber in ORG contact (countrycode not prefilled.)

Hi

 

I am using a domain registrar which only accept phonenumbers in this format:

+44.123456789

 

The issue is now, that whmcs DO pre-fill the countrycode, but not in the ORG contact. Admin, Tech etc in fine, but ORG it seems not to pre-fill the countrycode...

 

Any others who can confirm this? I will report this as a bug.

Hi,

The phone number should be entered in the format area code and country code (eg. 123456789)

You should not enter the country code or any punctuation into the WHMCS phone number field (eg. +44).

 

The registrar module code itself will need to handle adding the country code to the phone number field automatically based upon the client's country.

So if you're having problems with this, I recommend contacting the module vendor directly.
