Problem with user not able to change their payment processor type

I have noticed a weird bug on my WHMCS for a few months. On both the viewcart.tpl and the masspay.tpl, users can not successfully change their payment type. I must always manually go into the backend admin area to manually change their payment type.

For example, if a user selects on checkout PayPal, but then they delay paying invoice and later login and decide to try using 2Checkout, they can select the radio button for 2Checkout, bu the invoice will still send them to PayPal.

Also, if a user pays monthly and the first month they paid with Bitcoin, the second month they select PayPal but they still are always forwarded to BitCoin processor.

So the problem seems to be that the first choice user makes for payment is the "permanent" choice and can not change. any idea maybe where I have a problem and where I should look to fix it?

Thanks for ideas~

in general settings -> invoices have you got "Clients Choose Gateway" ticked? if so, then your customers should be able to choose their payment method...

Ahhh! yes, that solves it. I never seem to have noticed that checkbox before and have been using WHMCS for a couple years. Many thanks for your advice!
