[confirmed] Client registration leads to a white screen of death

After upgrading to WHMCS v5.3.8, customers are unable to register for an account using the register.php page (ie https://mydomain.com/whmcs/register.php)

 

After entering all their details, filling in the captcha, and pressing the "Register" button, a white blank page appears.

 

This was working fine until v5.3.7.

 

Different browsers were tested, and the Apache log shows nothing.

Which captcha are you using? There is a known issue with 5.3.8 and the ReCAPTCHA module, you can work around this by switching to the default captcha.

Indeed I'm using reCAPTCHA. Sorry if it's a known issue, I did search the "Bug Reports" forum before posting though.

Do you have a case ID so I can check in future releases?
