DJFireCFH
So upon going through some clients accounts, we found that these clients are still active, and still paying, however, when checking on Products/Services tab, its showing "Service ID Not Found". we have a few things "hidden" from old packages/services, and then ones not hidden that are new packages/services.. Some how, these clients products/services didnt update when we made these changes. How can you add a product/service ID number to an account ? Ive tried looking through the database at tblclients But I don't see anything that would be where you could fix up the product or service ID. how can we get this fixed up so the product (and correct product) show up on the clients accounts? Okay after a bit more research, I looked up the clients ID number under tblhosting... It shows 2 services in there... one with a packageid of 0 and the other one with the correct packageid... If I would delete the one with packageid 0 will that fix the issue? Or will that severely screw up the account? WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted July 2, 2014 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted July 2, 2014 Hi, You could delete them straight off if you definitely no longer want these service records under the client. An alternative is to create a new product, call it something like "Orphaned product" and then assigning any records in tblhosting with a packageid value of 0 to this new packageid instead. That way you'll be able to manage them via the admin UI, can assign it to the correct product, or delete it from there.
WHMCS Ryan
Hello DJFireCFH, I cannot say for sure if this will resolve your problem but it seems to the logical step with the information you have provided. I would strongly suggest backing up your database before you make any changes and then just test this change on one account first to see if it resolves the problem. If it does not resolve your issue your next step would be submitting a support ticket to our support staff. If you place a ticket please provide the ticket ID in this thread so I can post relevant updates for anyone who may have similar issues. --Thanks
