How do I mark recurring manual payouts so I don't do them again?

I was testing on an affiliate account, and any of the recurring affiliate payments (such as hosting) can be added more than once manually for the same date. The OTO payments are marked as such and tell me they have already been paid.

How can I mark each recurring one as paid, if it keeps letting me re-click ad infinitum... should the recurring ones be deleted from the pending payouts once they have been moved to the Available to Withdraw Balance? Or is there a better way to handle it?

Thanks for any help you can give me!!

Hi,

A commission will be given to the affiliate each time the "Manual Payout" link is clicked. Is that to what you refer?

I can confirm that is the expected and documented behaviour: http://docs.whmcs.com/Affiliates#Paying_Commission_for_an_already_paid_order

You wouldn't need to click that link if the affiliate had already earned all the appropriate commissions for that referral, only if you wanted to add extra commissions.

Hi.. Yes, I understand that part... but how do I mark them so I don't pay them again?? The affiliates are set up for OTO payments on purchases of a sites/script/domain etc., but they are set for recurring monthly payments on hosting... and if I pay them once, I don't want to accidentally pay them for the same month's hosting. I was looking to see if I missed a way to mark the ones that I had already done a manual payout to put it into pending. All I could find was to sort it by dates of the last one paid.... Thank you for your answer.. it at least lets me know I am doing it the right way... I was looking for an easy way to check... like a checkbox or greyed out or something... thanks again!!

Hi,

WHMCS handles the payment of all commissions automatically, you don't need to click the "Manual Payout" at all under normal circumstances. It would only be used if you wanted to give an affiliate additional commission.

Ah, Ok.. I found a couple that had not been paid and that the affiliates had asked about... I'm guessing that it does once a month, then.... I'll tell them to be patient... thanks!!!
