APHservices
I just update WHMCS from 5.3.3 to 5.3.7 and the first thing I notice is when I send a customer an email from a template, it's blank. Viewing the raw source shows only the header, no content. Seems to be for any email sent from a template, not just custom ones. Anybody have any thoughts? I'm unsure where to look first.
durangod
Check to see that your SMTP in acp settings has not changed when you updated. Sometimes it will revert back to php mail. If that does not work then check a test email in preview mode to see if it is the same way.

WHMCS Chance
Hey APHServices, As durangod and brian! so eloquently assisted, this happened to be an issue with the 5.3.7 upgrade where the mail encoding was not being saved in the database after the upgrade. To resolve, simply goto Setup >> General Settings >> Mail Tab and ensure that you have the correct mail server and there is some type of encoding shown in the drop down (usually 8bit is default) and then you just need to click the 'Save Changes' button to resave this into the database. Then you mail should be getting sent out correctly. If not, please submit a ticket to the support department so we can grab some login details and investigate for you. Thanks!
