badrocks
I'm running WHMCS 5.3.7 and have it linked to my reseller account and Enom for domains and SSL certificates. When a customer orders a new domain the domain is is registered with enom and the record is added to WHM. The record is added with the domain without the www. When an ssl certificate is purchased for that domain the request is sent to enom without the www. The resulting ssl will not work is someone tries to access the site as www.domain.xxx. If the certificate is purchased as www.domain.xxx it will work with or without the www. Is there any way to force it to order the certificates with the www?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted June 17, 2014 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted June 17, 2014 Hi, When a client generates the CSR they would need to specify to use http://www.domain.xxx as the domain for the certificate. Perhaps you can talk to the server control panel software vendor to see if there's an option to force the domain in the CSR to be generated in this way? This isn't a WHMCS issue as our software does not generate the CSR.
