Configurable Options show on invoices even when not selected or 0 quantity

We would be willing to pay somebody to write us a hook to remove items form the invoice (and ideally the cart) that have not been selected or have a quantity of 0

 

It makes for a confusing invoice.

 

I've seen many old threads regarding this issue that go back to 2008 but no suggestions on how to solve

is there a solution allready there for that? we would also need to hide on the invoices all not choosen options!

I've already implemented this feature in a module of mine (this one). You can hide all the unused Configurable Options (e.g. zero quantity and not selected) from invoices and emails by enabling an option. It's also possible to hide unused Configurable Options of existing invoices in one click.

Yes we would also be interested in such little hook or template.

 

@klan thanks for your post and your great module but i guess some people would like to have a lightwight hook or function without implementing a great and big module which does lots more.
