Forwarded support emails not working

I have an issue where ifd someone forwards an email into the support system of whmcs, the forwarded part of the email is lost, so if someone says please look at the below issue, we only get the top part of the email.

 

is this a setting issue or a bug?

whmcs looks at the emails for certain fields to detect if the email is a reply to a previous email, so that only the new part gets imported

 

those same fields/headers will exist in a forwarded message so the old part is missing

 

for this reason i moved to zendesk for support, bought the modules garden zendesk module

 

with zendesk and forward emails get imported as new tickets.. zendesk has iPhone apps etc
