Site Design plus Auto-Expiring Hosting Package?

I wish to be able to offer a site design package that includes six months of free hosting.

After six months the free hosting expires. The customer may then begin to pay for hosting depending upon which subscription they choose.

So far I have created two product groups: one for site design and one for hosting.

I've created a product for hosting and assigned it to the hosting group.

I've created a product for site design and assigned it to the site design group.

What I can't figure out how to do is to link the hosting to the site design, and have only the hosting portion expire after six months.

I can see that I can add the hosting as an Upgrade to the site design, but that is not the ideal way to handle this. It needs to be a mandatory inclusion, not an option that may or may not be chosen.

Thoughts and help please - thx!

Hi,

To achieve this you should select the "One-Time" Payment Type option under the product Pricing tab.

Then enter 182 in the "Auto Terminate/Fixed Term" field.

Finally select the email to be sent automatically when the hosting account expires.

If you would like clients to order these two products together, you can use a product bundle: http://docs.whmcs.com/Product_Bundles
