View 'Unpaid Invoices' net of tax?

Hello all,

Does anyone know of a way that I can change the viewing method to view unpaid invoices without tax?

Currently if I go to 'Billing > Invoices > Unpaid' it shows the gross amount. However I want to be able to at a glance see when monies are owed without tax. I know that I can do a very quick calculation and remove the % but having the ability to change the view would be great!

I doubt you can, it'll probably be in an encrypted file...

perhaps an alternative solution, is to use the "Aging Invoices" report to obtain your required figure - I would assume that this currently gives the same totals with tax... but as the reports are not encrypted and hence are editable, you should be able to tweak the sql query to use "subtotal" rather than "total" to get your pre-tax amounts.

unfortunately, i've got no unpaid invoices to test this idea with!

Might be just the thing, thanks...will have a look.

Just going through all of the reporting....seems crazy that the default annual income report includes the gross amounts. Seems crazy that there's no option to include or exclude VAT in the reports....if doing a full business report I can understand the need to show the Tax, however the report states it's an Income Report....Income should be by default Net of tax. So the report is useless for companies that add tax.
