Radius Module Help

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

We have installed the freeradius module and dont really know where to go from here.

How do I tell my AP's to connect to the whmcs freeradius installation ?

How do I specify the Customer Antenna MAC address in their profile ?

Thanks for any help, the documentation seems a bit lacking for a paid module..

Hi,

you enter your server details into WHMCS under Setup > Products/Services > Servers as normal.

Then when module command is run (creation, suspend, terminate) the command is set to that server.

If you'd like to store additional information about the client's account in WHMCS, you can do so by adding custom fields: http://docs.whmcs.com/Custom_Fields

You would need to fill that data in manually though.

Hi,

Not sure that really helps me, sorry !

My Access Point requires the following information:

Auth Server IP/Port (presumably IP is the whmcs server ip address, the port we have always used is 1812)

Auth Server Secret ( ? )

The Access point, after authentication with the above details would then send the client MAC address to Radius and ask for authorisation. Where in WHMCS does this MAC address go ?

We currently run freeradius internally on our own server and it works fine but wish to merge the systems into one for ease of admin.

Thanks,
