How to make Free Domain show $0.00 ?

I have added a Free Domain and everything works fine although when clicking through my shopping cart, it shows the regular price of the domain in the drop down menu rather than $0.00.

Is there any way to show $0.00 for Free domain in the drop down menu ? I think some people might back out after seeing the regular price in the drop down or it could cause some kind of confusion.

My template is Boxed and its strange that now it will not change to any other template. I have double checked everything and all seems good, but i still get a full price showing instead of $0.00.

Just to be sure here are my settings:

Products/Services > Free Domains:

* Offer a free domain registration/transfer and free renewal (if product is renewed)

* Free Domain Payment Terms - One Time

* Free Domain TLD's - I have 11 TLD's highlighted and selected.

which order form template are you using? also, it might be good to see a screenshot too of where you're seeing this.

Hi Mike,

this might theoretically be possible to do, but would require some clever {if} statements in configureproductdomain.tpl - too late to look at it further tonight, maybe with a fresh mind in the morning... I can kind of see how it could be done in general, but the devil would be in the detail of the coding.

have you noticed as well if you select the domain with a longer period than permitted for the free domain (i.e 3 years), it seems to accept it, but when you get to viewcart, it sets it to 1 year - seems that it can only be changed back to 3 by changing the billing cycle of the product... which you can't do on your site as you only use one billing cycle (monthly).

that won't be a bug, just the way whmcs works... though it might cause confusion to those that don't know the software!
