giorgiomx
Hi I generated an Invoice for a customer, using the Next Due Date that day. I have the setup for 8 days for suspension after due with all 3 reminders to be sent before suspension. But I gave him more days so I set up the "Do not suspend until" option to a further specific date. I supposed the 3 overdue reminders would still be sent, but the next day, when the invoice was overdue, no "First Overdue Notice" message was sent. why?? The only difference with other customers is that I put the "Do not suspend until.." option. Are the reminders still gonna be sent?? - I've been using WHMCS for almost a year, it works just fine with other customers, except this case - Customer has the option to receive overdue reminders activated - Cron didn't show any error, just sent reminders to other customers except this one thank you
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 19, 2013 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 19, 2013 Hi, Is the "Overdue Notices" option perhaps tricked under the client's Profile tab?
giorgiomx
Hi,Is the "Overdue Notices" option perhaps tricked under the client's Profile tab? As in, to not receive overdue notices? No, it is not marked up. But I tested with 2 dummy accounts. I generated a purchase invoice for each. Then the next day, the account with the option "do not suspend until..." activated didn't receive any overdue reminder. The other account did receive the first overdue reminder. So I answered my own question, "does the [do not suspend until...] option affects?", yes, why? I have no idea. This is how I have to figure out how WHMCS invoicing works, and is just stupid, documentation doesn't explain NOTHING about generating invoices in non regular, special, specific or X situations, which can fill pages and pages of situations but at least we could know how to do it. I would pay WHMCS for support just to clear all questions and needs about invoicing, but oh well, that's the product(no premium support nor consulting).
