Prorate Quarterly ( calendar quarters prorata ) ?

Hi, I'm wondering if there has been any change to the answer on this old thread, or if anybody might have a workaround.

http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?35571-Prorata-Billing-Annually-Rather-than-Monthly&highlight=prorata+quarterly

We bill our customers quarterly, always on Jan 1, April 1, July 1 and Oct 1

and we prorate the first payment only.

So what I need is a 90 day prorating cycle, rather than monthly.

Possible?

As it stands I think we'll have to accept a full quarterly payment, then manually prorate and adjust the customer's second payment to get them back into our quarterly cycle. An automated solution would be better.

thanks for any input

Hi,

The prorata logic has not changed since that thread was posted. You can certainly pro-rate client's to the 1st of a given month at quarterly intervals, but there isn't an option to automatically adjust their next due dates to specific months as well.

However you could potentially customise that yourself using an action hook to modify the Next Due Date:
