Set "Don't have a PayPal account" as default when using PayPal

I was wondering if it's possible to set "Don't have a PayPal account" as default when a client is being redirected to PayPal. We're having tons of customers contacting us because they need to have a PayPal account. And to be fair, the "Don't have a PayPal account?"-text could be more visible.

This would be something that Paypal would need to do as when you are redirected to Paypal then WHMCS has no control on what is displayed on the paypal page.

I've seen that it's default for some online stores. I am almost sure that it can be done without having to contact PP.

Once you leave a store and go to the Paypal payment page, then whatever is on that page is a Paypal setting and cant be controlled by any store/other scripts

I wonder if the setting PayPal Account Optional in your Paypal account under

Hosted payment settings then Website payments preferences is the setting you require. According to Paypal:

 

Turn on PayPal Account Optional and we won't require non PayPal account holders to create an account to complete a purchase from you.

 

They will pay for their goods with a debit or credit card, fill in a few small details about themselves and be able to sign up to PayPal afterwards.

 

Customers who already have a PayPal account will checkout in the traditional manner. The PayPal Account Optional Feature is available for merchants using Express Checkout and for ‘Buy Now’, ‘Donations’ and ‘Shopping Cart’ buttons within Website Payments Standard.

 

Note: If you have chosen to turn on PayPal Account Optional for new users and enabled a function called ‘Auto Return,’ the new users will not return to your website automatically, but will be able to choose to return.

Just checked my paypal setting and under your profile >> My selling preferences >> Website Payment Preferences their is a

[h=3]PayPal Account Optional[/h]When this feature is turned on, your customers will go through an optimised checkout experience. This feature is available for Buy Now, Donations and Shopping Cart buttons, but not for Subscription buttons. Learn More

 

this option will only work if you manually create buttons

Manually create buttons for the site via paypal you mean? That's how I do it, but was wondering if there was an easier way to get around that.
