Invoice Payment Reminders being sent after I have disabled them.

Something very strange has happened, I recently updated to 5.2.12 and although I have disabled Overdue emails and payment reminders, every day at the cron time is set, an invoice payment reminder is being sent to some customers.

 

What can I do to actually disable?

for these customers that are receiving the invoice reminders, when you go to their client's profiles - does it say "Send Overdue Reminders - YES"?

 

now I don't know if this setting overrides the default setting - logically it shouldn't because if these emails are disabled by default, whmcs shouldn't know when to send them... but this is worth checking out - especially as you say that only some customers are receiving them.

The setting within the clients account works the other way around. If you have the reminders on you can disable for specific clients. I don't believe it works the way you are thinking.

I was aware it could disable for specific clients, but didn't know if it was effectively a toggle and would override a disabled setting... I doubted it and thankfully you've confirmed my doubts!
