Lifetime Prices for first year customers.

Hi,

 

From next year i would plan to increase a prices a bit and of course to enhance services, and would like new prices to be applied only to new clients while old clients would have same recurring prices and new enhanced services.

 

Any idea how can I define such a promo code? It would be something like Lifetime Prices for first year customers.

you wouldn't need to - recurring prices are set at the time of order and aren't changed by later changes to your pricing structure... should you ever need to, you can change the old clients recurring prices using the bulk pricing updater (but I don't think it works correctly in the latest version anyway!)... or individually account by account!

 

so when you set your new prices next year, new customers will be charged those prices, old clients renewals will be at their current recurring prices...

 

now if you want to apply old prices to old clients on new orders next year, then you may need to look at client groups and/or promo codes for that.
