StarDevelops system looks pretty good as it has the ability to pass download links via SFTP. We would wish to host on our own systems so cloud based is out. Nice to hear some views please ? TheHostingHeroes Posted October 28, 2013 Share Posted October 28, 2013 (edited) We've used lots of different ones in the past including Kayako, LivePerson and recently /http://www.livechatinc.com/?a=LINKKILLED which seems one of the best I've used in a while, its got plugins for pretty much everything including WHMCS, so any clients who come on chat, it stores every chat as a closed ticket in their account in WHMCS. I am commissioning a developer to add options so it uses whmcs API to grab further information such as clients products and security question and answer. If its possible we'll look at making the addon open for anyone to use. Their is tons of cool plugins for their live chat too such as mailchimp, facebook login, and tons of others. check it out /http://www.livechatinc.com/?a=LINKKILLED their is a FREE trial too. Overall, it works very good and it fits our needs, but the Windows app lacks some features (at least for us). When trying to ban people using the app, nothing happens. We also would like to modify the live help button and stuff on the website, but this was way too difficult. We use it at http://www.myevolutionhost.com We have tried other live chat scripts, and I personally think it is a good choice! It is reasonably priced, and The team over at StarDevelop has been amazing when it comes to asking for help. We also use the iphone app, which works amazing as well.
