disaster_master
Hello everybody. I got wind of a critical security update and would like to get that taken care of. Problem is I have modified many files bigtime. I can't just do an update or I will trash tons of labor. So my question is... Is there anywhere in here where I can read or download a line by line listing of EXACTLY what has been changed in the code? I need to know every file that has been changed at a minimum... Reason is, I will literally have to manually go through all of the code on each file that has been updated and then very cautiously and manually do the security update. I suppose I will have both files open at the same time... my modded file and the new file(s). Painstaking I know. They don't call me disaster master for nothing lol. Thanks for the help in advance!
DavidBee
It was not myself who completed our patch however I'm sure only core files were updated. This meaning your theme will not be effected if you have created your own template folder and not used a default one.
TekHive
Correct, also from top of my head there was only about 6 files which have been changed.
zomex
All of the files that have been changed are encoded so there's no way to know which lines have changed. Also these files were all .php files, there's been no changes to the template files. Regards, Jack
SeanP
What version are you updating from? If you are updating from 5.2.8, there is an incremental patch that doesn't replace any templates.
Alex - Arvixe
The only way the issue would be an upgrade is if you had custom developed done by WHMCS previously (Of which they edited the core encrypted files). Other than that an upgrade should go fine .
