scott-ldg
Hi, I'm running a test run on my WHMCS/WHM setup and I've run into an error when autosetup for my test account receives the payment, but for some reason I click the "Create" button on the Module Commands line, I get this error message: "Module Command Error Hook denied creation of account: Invalid username" I've tried changing the default username on the test clients account from admin to test-admin to see if that was the problem, but I still got the error message. This just for the hosting, not the domain name (I'll test that once I resolve the hosting set up). Does anyone have any insight as to what the problem could be? I've looked through the documentation and was not able to find any info for this particular error message. Thanks in advance!
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 18, 2013 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 18, 2013 Hi, It sounds like you've got an action hook installed that's blocking the account creation. Try moving everything out of your /includes/hooks directory.
scott-ldg
Thanks for your reply, I was able to resolve the issue. Apparently I was using a reserved word in my username, that's why the error. I'm guessing it was the word "admin" because once I took that word out of the username it went through.
