Modules Factory pleased to announce the release of version 1.2.7 with the following changes and new features.

 

New Features:

 

• Server Setup Automation: version 1.2.7 comes with Auto discover for automatic proxmox nodes detection and import into WHMCS servers db, also it offer an add node wizard for ability to add a single node, this also features ability to unconfigure the servers again.
   
   
  
• Manual Provisioning : Beside Auto provisioning, Module now support Manual Provisioning for expanding capability to manually assign/release a VPS from a client service without deleting or affecting the VPS, quite usefull for Migration and maintenance, plus also powerfull for clients who wish to go manual without the use of Auto provisioning.
   
   
  
• Custom Fields for Username/Password/Confirm are now Optional, module can automatcally generate random username/password if those fields not set.
   
   
  
• Operate VM now support buttons, you have option to switch between : Local => Operate buttons (default), Remote => proxmox login Operate console. You can modify this setting from Product Setting.
   
   
  
• Module now support utilizing root-password field that comes with VPS products type in WHMCS this applies to internal vps user and Openvz VPS root password.

• Default template not showing on edit.

A few quick questions:

 

1) Does your module support full automation of KVM provisioning when using templates? This includes the following features:

 

• An IP is assigned to the KVM guest (within the guest OS)
  
• root password for guest is set
  
• hostname of guest is set
  
• file system size is expanded if needed based on the storage size of the product
  
• VM is booted for the customer after the order completes.
  

 

2) I think you mentioned it, but can users reset their root password with your system?

 

3) Is there a way to hook into your system so that script is ran on the destination host when a system is created, started, or stopped? If not, would you be willing to add such a feature?

 

4) Is your solution encoded? Id like to be able to add features and fix bugs when needed. For example, Im going to replace the java vnc console with novnc.

 

Right now im not happy with the modulesgarden proxmox module, so I am looking for an alternative.

-apagado/suspension de vps cuando superen un load average en un tiempo determinado.

-Una motorización de servicios (por ejemplo cuando no se pueda acceder al puerto 80 este vps se reinicie)

-Una interfaz similar al nuevo diseño whmcs6 en el área de clientes.

-Seleccionar una localización desde el carro de pedidos. (según nodo?)
