TeleMagic
Hi guys. I am having issues with the nominet module. I have made sure I am running the latest version of the module and ensured that the ip address of the nominet epp server is allowed in my firewall, port 700 is allowed in and out anyway. But whenever the module tries to register a domain I get the following error. CURL Error: 7 - couldn't connect to host (IP: 77.107.115.89 & 77.107.115.4) Any pointers? brian!
I dont understand why I need to add my server IP in the API access on WHMCS to allow the nominet module to work? sorry, I was wrong - I haven't got my server IP there and Nominet is working fine for me... some registrar modules require this, but Nominet isn't one so I must have been thinking of something else. if you google your error message (always a good first step as you'd be unlucky to be the first to come across any error!), the usual suspects are firewall, enabling curl and the API settings... take a look at this thread to see if it helps - it isn't specifically about Nominet but the principles are the same... http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1132448
openmind
Have you added your server IP to the Nominet EPP live interface through your Nominet account?
TeleMagic
Yes I have added the ip to the nominet server. The strange thing is that the error message shows two ip addresses. One is the main IP for my Cpanel Server and the second is the Deicated IP assigned to the site!
