Hi,

 

I want to sell ebooks with social DRM. To do this a hookpoint before downloading the file would be great.

But .... Such a hookpoint does not exist.

 

Another way would be generating the file after the order was processed, and made available in the clientarea.

Could this be done?

you can put in support->download make the category and then put the file on download.

Thanks, but this does not give me a social drm (watermark) in the ebook ...

Well best thing is to do put your company logo and information on very first page of every PDF file which make scene i thing so better to do code changing you get me?

I do get you. Thanks. But this is not what I want. Each downloaded ebook has to have the name of the customer on every 10th page.

you could create a pdf using php (as the invoice in WHMCS demonstrates), and apparently there is are php classes to create epub and mobi files.

 

but it might be better if you post in marketplace and ask for quotes for writing such a module - for someone with php and whmcs experience, it may be possible.
