rmbpantek Posted August 22, 2013 Share Posted August 22, 2013 I was hoping I could get some feedback. We have a product that is hours of tech support. A customer can buy one or more hours. We also have to option for a RUSH charge. This means that you can pay extra to have your job completed faster. A customer may buy 3 hours for a task, but we would only charge the RUSH fee once. No matter how is set it up, the rush charge is multiplied by the number of hours they purchase. Is there anything I product settings or addon options that could prevent this? Posted August 22, 2013 Share Posted August 22, 2013 one way around this might be to have two products - let's say techsupport and techsupport RUSH.. create them both the same (one time, multiple quantity etc), but give the RUSH version a setup fee - that would only be charged once regardless of hours. another way, though probably not as useful in your case, might be to setup one product (RUSH) with a setup fee as above, but add a link to "techsupport" (non-rush) that includes a free setup promotion code in it (howto is in the docs) - but as I said previously, in your case that is back to front as it sounds like you would prefer one product and to add a fee on for RUSH, rather than remove it for standard tech support. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
