supernix
According to my logs my site started failing to update the exchange rates as well. Looks like it worked on 8/16/2013 and after that it has been giving failures.

saurabhnsonar
Yes exactly it stopped working from 8/16/2013. Maybe some issue with the server.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 21, 2013 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 21, 2013 Hi, It appears the ECB (from where WHMCS gets the exchange rates) has changed their system without notice to us. We are aware of this and this will be corrected in the next version.
supernix
And what is everyone supposed to do until then though and how long will it be till there is a resolution?
Radsy!
Well In the meantime you can disable the automatic updating of exchange rates and prices under Setup > Automation Settings then manually enter the base conversion rate and optionally you can also manually update your product prices by clicking "Update Product Prices" on the Setup > Payments > Currencies page. Please refer to the relevant documentation at http://docs.whmcs.com/Currencies
cam.g
A patch would be good.
Alex - Arvixe
A patch would be good. I don't think they'll release one so until one is out you should either: 1. Follow Radsy! little guide on how to - I'd say one update every morning should do it. 2. Update your product prices for each currency (fixed prices), once an update has been released re-enable automatic currency updates and have the system automatically update your product pricing to reflect those new currency conversion rates.

WHMCS TedX
This appears to be fixed in the 5.3.0 Beta and will soon be released to the general public. See "Case 3075 - Implemented Update to ECB Exchange Rates Data Feed URL " in the v5.3.0 ChangeLog.
ServWise.com
This is crazy that the system does not inform us directly of a failure to update exchange rates, we have to have fairly accurate exchange rates in our reporting so we can report accurate amounts in our base currency for tax reasons and to have no notices in the nightly cron report at least (im sure it used too) is very bad form.
